Submit Test Scores
If you have taken the College Placement Test, SAT and/or ACT within the past two years, have your official scores sent to the Testing Center. If you do not have SAT or ACT scores, arrange to take the Florida College Placement Test (CPT) at the testing center on any campus. This assessment is used to place you in appropriate communication, math and other classes requiring prerequisites. According to Florida Statutes [Rule 6A-10.0315, College Preparatory Testing, Placement, and Instruction], some degree-seeking students are required to be tested before enrolling for classes. Others are exempt from testing and placed in developmental education courses. Regardless, taking the test is a good idea! For more information regarding College Preparatory Testing exemption visit Advising. Please visit Testing to access the current CPT testing dates and times.
If you are a first time in college student, you are required to attend orientation before registering for classes. Go to New Student Orientation to register.
Meet with an academic adviser
